We had a Haitian visitor at our house Wednesday night. Her name is Witlene and she is one of our Hands that Heal patients in the U.S. receiving care. Rebecca was at the Ft.Wayne airport to pic her up (she had been staying in Atlanta with family for a short time waiting for meds to work on her tumor) she was seeing a specialist in Ft.Wayne that week. Well she didnt show up. Come to find out she was in Indy instead of Ft.Wayne. (We let her book her own flight). Rebecca called me so I went to the airport and picked her up and she spent the night with us. The kids thought it was great. Nick spoke to her in english all night long, he didnt care that she didnt understand. She just smile and nodded at him. He was not bashful at all which surprised me. Jeremy acted shy. Just when I was thinking my Creole was terrible, I couldnt speak to her all night, I met Rebecca and the three of us had lunch. I could understand everything they were saying in Creole! I was so happy. I just cant produce the words to put together yet but I can understand most of it.
She is in Ft.Wayne with Rebecca now (Rebecca is the founder of Hands That Heal). Her tumor is shrinking with meds only, her prolactin levels are normalizing too. We thought she was going to have to have the pituitary tumor removed when she arrived. She was praising God for her healing yesterday.
